Drop your pin where history happened, dial in the timeline, and sequence ancient to modern landmarks in head-to-head trivia duels.
Every match challenges both your geographic spatial memory and your grasp of global historical chronology.
You are presented with 5 historical events, landmarks, or archaeological discoveries. For each card, drop your pin on the world map and estimate the exact historical year using the slider.
You are handed an unsorted hand of major historical milestones. Drag, rearrange, and sequence each event onto an interactive timeline ordering them strictly from oldest to newest.

Everything you need to know about match calculations, scoring decay, and multiplayer lobbies.
Geographic scoring uses geodesic distance calculations from your placed pin to the true landmark coordinates. A pin placed directly on the site earns a maximum 500 points. Points scale downward as the distance increases, bottoming out at 0 points beyond the maximum margin of error.
Your year estimate starts with a full potential of 500 points. For each calendar year your guess deviates from the true historical date, points decay based on the overall historical era. Nailing the exact year awards the full 500 points.
In Round 2, historical events must be sequenced chronologically from oldest (top) to newest (bottom). Every correctly placed milestone yields bonus points, and submitting an entirely flaw-free chronological sequence triggers a full perfect-sort bonus multiplier.
When entering a multiplayer lobby or sending a direct friend challenge, players match at equal credit tiers. The player with the highest combined score across Rounds 1 and 2 wins the match and earns the victory rewards.
Matches run real-time presence synchronization. If an opponent leaves, closes their app, or exceeds the turn countdown timer, the remaining active player automatically wins the match by forfeit and earns the victory reward.
No. All credits and match rewards are strictly virtual in-game score units with zero real-world cash value. They cannot be purchased with fiat currency, cashed out, or transferred outside of Geopointia.
